Shubham Vinod Magar

I am an Assistant Professor at Rai University with a strong academic foundation and practical experience in full-stack software development. I hold a Master of Technology degree in Computational and Data Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal—one of India’s premier technical institutions. My professional background includes working on a range of software projects, where I developed scalable web applications using technologies such as Java, Angular, Spring Boot, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Prior to transitioning into academia, I gained valuable industry experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in real-world environments. This hands-on exposure allows me to bring practical insights into the classroom, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and their industry applications.

As an educator, I am deeply passionate about creating an engaging, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment. I emphasize conceptual clarity, project-based learning, and critical thinking. I am also proficient with modern tools such as Git/GitHub, Jira, Figma, and VS Code, which I regularly integrate into my teaching. My academic interests include web application development, emerging technologies, and continuous innovation in computer science education.

Through my teaching, I strive to not only impart technical skills but also mentor students to become adaptive, problem-solving professionals who are industry-ready. My goal is to inspire and equip students to think beyond the classroom and build solutions that make an impact.
