Duration: 6 months; Full -Time Program
Location of the Program: Redbricks Education- Satellite Branch

Program Dates:
7th July 2014 to 27th April 2015
3 days/week lectures (2 hours/day)
Plus 1 day (2 hours/day) practice teaching for non-working teachers


Batch V: 9:00AM to 12:45 pm* (with 15 min break in between)

* Timings may vary slightly as per participants and faculty requirements.

Note: wo hours of observation & practice teaching in classes every week is included in above timings. Working student participants will be practicing and implementing their sessions in their respective schools they are associated with.

Background of Students:
• Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply
• Working or Aspiring Teachers/Supervisors from various schools
• Young Mothers wanting to learn and develop better parenting skills

Eligibility for the course:

Duration: 8 months; Part-Time Program
Location of the Program: Redbricks Education- Satellite Branch
Program Dates:
7th July 2014 to 22nd February 2015

• Days: 3 days/week lectures (2 hours/day)
• Plus 1 day (3 hours) of practice teaching every week for non-working teachers

* Day and timings may vary slightly as per participants and faculty requirements.

For young children who require care while their mothers are attending the lectures, then the institute will provide for such a care with the presence of a maid and a room (in the afternoon batches only)

Background of Students:
• Current Primary years teachers/educators (with or without B.Ed)
• Graduates willing to get into primary education
• Parents wanting to learn better skills or enter in to the teaching field

Eligibility for the course:
1. Graduates from any discipline and teachers of schools are eligible to apply
2. Participants should be proficient in English communication
3. Admission form can be purchased from the admission office of the Institute followed by an admission test and a personal interview will be conducted to gauge the participant's inclination and aptitude for the program.

Duration: 4 Months, Part-time Program
Location of the Program: Redbricks Education- Satellite Branch


Program Dates:
14th July '14 – 23rd November'14

Session Details:
• Theory Sessions: 2 days/week : 2hours/session (plus 10 mins break in between)

Days of the Theory Session: Thursdays & Saturdays

• Practical Sessions (Observations & Field Work)- 1 day per alternate weeks; 2 hours/session. Field work will be done by students at external centres in Ahmedabad identified by the institute.

• Total Duration of the course : 17 weeks approximately ( 68 hours Theory + 16 hours Practical)

• Session Timings: 3p.m. – 5:10 p.m.*

• Understand different deviant psychological and performance related conditions in • • children with learning and behavioral difficulties
• Understand the meaning of “Inclusion” and its implementations in contemporary classrooms
• Understand the basic levels and techniques of assessment in the area of learning and behavioral disorders
• Describe the role of teacher working with children with learning and behavioral difficulties in general classrooms
• Plan & Implement the most relevant remediation strategies for children with learning and behavioral difficulties.
• Understand psychological conditions of parents and families of children with learning and behavioral disorders
