I am Antara B., a passionate primary school educator with 12 years of teaching experience dedicated to helping young learners build a strong academic foundation. I strongly believe that education should inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. My teaching philosophy is simple: understanding should always replace memorization. I strive to create a positive and engaging classroom environment where children feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and develop essential life skills alongside academic knowledge.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students across different age groups in primary education, gaining valuable experience in nurturing children during their most important learning years. Currently, I work as a Primary Teacher at Shreyas Foundation, Manekbagh, Ahmedabad, where I teach English and Environmental Studies (EVS) to Grade 1 students while managing mixed-age classrooms. This experience has helped me understand the unique learning needs of every child and adapt my teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles.

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Senior KG Mother Teacher at Hugs and Cuddles, Ahmedabad, where I focused on developing foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills in young learners. I have also served as a Primary Teacher for Classes 1 to 5, teaching subjects including English, Science, and Social Studies. These diverse teaching experiences have strengthened my ability to simplify concepts and make learning enjoyable through interactive activities, storytelling, discussions, and hands-on learning.

I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. My classes are designed to help students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorizing answers for examinations. I encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving by connecting lessons with real-life examples and engaging activities that make learning meaningful and memorable.

Along with my practical teaching experience, I have continuously invested in my own professional growth. I completed my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Bihar University and later pursued my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Gujarat University to further strengthen my teaching methodologies and classroom management skills. These academic qualifications have enhanced my understanding of child psychology, curriculum planning, and effective teaching strategies that support holistic student development.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence as much as academic excellence. I maintain open communication with both students and parents, regularly sharing progress and providing constructive feedback. I believe that a strong partnership between teachers and parents plays a vital role in a child's overall growth, helping students stay motivated and achieve their learning goals with confidence.

Whether I am teaching English, EVS, Science, or Social Studies, I aim to make every lesson engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate. I patiently support students who need additional attention while also challenging advanced learners with activities that encourage deeper thinking. My objective is to ensure that every child develops strong fundamentals that will benefit them throughout their academic journey.
