IdentityI have been performing comedy as well as studying philosophy, both since many years.
Because of which I teach 4 types of classes:
1) Sketch Writing, Comedy Writing
2) Improvisational Theatre
3) Musical Comedy
4) Critical Thinking/Debating/Logical Reasoning
My classes are based on a exercise based approach where it's about 20% theory, 70% on the spot workshop exercises and 10% homework.
The exercises are either group based games, interactive exercises or quick writing prompts under the set conditions depending on the class.
Two things I always maintain in my classes are, the concept of a safe space where one can have a positive environment feeling inspired as well as an inclusive and interactive approach. We create a supportive space for all gender and are queer friendly as well as have strict policy against the negative - isms, harassment and discrimination.
I am young and like to teach only how I would like to be taught hence am quite candid and jolly in my approach.
I also teach specialised classes like a specific topic in the above mentioned workshop categories like character development or logical fallacies etc.
Most my mentioned workshops are in form of a set of session usually ranging from 2-8 sessions depending on whether it's a topical elective or a course.
I can provide demo sessions as well trial entry for one of my sessions to students who want to see how it is structured and if my methods work well with them then they have an option to enroll.
