How many months of practice is required by a beginner to learn coding and to work for a basic salary?

Java is an ocean. If anyone says that he/she knows Java completely, he/she is lying. It depends on your requirement. As far as if you are concerned about job, then you will need to learn other technologies also. To be comfortable with Java programing, dedicated 2-3 months are required.
