yes, its better to learn core tool for basics like color, texture, layout, compositions, styles in ui design, ux design. how ever photoshop is not the tool being used in the ui ux industry. sketch, gravit, figma are the modern tools that are pro apps for ux ui.

Yes you should learn Photoshop for UI/UX .bcoz Photoshop is a big software...You can do everything in Photoshop..You can create dummy of website in Photoshop..Before design in code...And u can design logo , advertising etc.
