Hi Shruthi, I assume are trying to present a Plan or Section with some post production in photoshop. (since your question is not direct). First get your Autocad or Revit file plotted in PDF file format. Second import the PDF file by using "FIle " -> and " Place" in Adobe Photoshop. Third Rasterize the PDF layer using "right Click" in "Layer" panel. Now you can do lot of post production by using magic want and fill options . You can also use other layer effects also on the layer to beautify your composition. If you need further clarification feel free to contact me. Which tool you would prefer to use when you want to crop a human portrait from an image?
I would use a pen tool to exactly cut the human from the image avoiding the things in the background. If the background doesn't matter, we can straight away use crop tool.
