If you compare photoshop with other free software means you will get lots of variations because other software won’t produce high end product only the photoshop can produce it. Many of the highend photographer are using secondary software’s like Lightroom, Capture one andAperture software etcfor the only to view RAW images after the production they import this images to photoshop cc raw filters option then they convert this images to JPG or TIFF,raw filters option are act like aLightroom, Capture one &Aperture. Most of the image based production companies are producing plugins for only photoshop, not only this actually photoshop was a birth of analog photography post process method because the old photography post processing methods and tools are adapted by photoshop hence still photoshop stand alone in the photography industry.
