Avani K.

My name is Avani Krishna K. A. and I am currently pursuing Master's degree in English Literature at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, a Central University. I hold an Honors degree in English from the University of Delhi.
Alongside my academic studies, I work as an online English tutor teaching students from diverse backgrounds including learners based in the United Kingdom. This experience has strengthened not only my subject expertise but also my ability to communicate effectively with students from different cultures and learning environments.
I am highly proficient in using online teaching platforms and educational technologies enabling me to create engaging, interactive and well-structured virtual classrooms. My teaching philosophy is centered on making learning enjoyable. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts by connecting them to familiar real-life experiences and then guiding students towards a deeper understanding of the topic. This approach helps students develop a genuine interest in the subject, reduces learning anxiety and improves retention.
I strongly believe that every learner is unique. Therefore, I design my lesson plans according to the individual needs, pace and learning capacity of each student. For learners who require additional support, I adopt a focused and more patient approach ensuring that they gain confidence and master concepts thoroughly.
Working with international students has enhanced my adaptability, cultural awareness and confidence as an educator. It has also given me valuable exposure to different learning styles and educational expectations. As a passionate and dedicated teacher, I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated and empowered to achieve their academic goals.
