The very best thing about the his classes was that he, unlike others, taught me to listen and analyse the sounds different keys made, rather than just making me mug up the notes to a few songs. That very thing helped me play the songs myself. It was almost effortless to learn to play the very basics of playing keyboard. He used to refer to how and what did he pick up from his training, to help me learn quick. The short tasks he gave me to do everyday to do at home, helped a great deal. His own compositions are very interesting as well, be it any genre, he can make it look effortless. It was great experience learning from him.
