5 Essentials for Your Gym Bag

Now that you have bought a big gym bag, you may wonder what to put in. What exactly to put in the gym bag is a question that concerns beginners and even pro fitness freaks. The contents of your gym bag majorly depends on when you are heading to the gym. Now if you workout early in the morning and leave for office from there, then your bag will have your office clothes as well. But if you are working out late at night, then the contents of the gym bag will be different.

By toiletries, you may only consider the towel. Well, there is more to it. Always carry two towels to the gym – one, big wrap towel and a small hand towel. Medical aid

Just keep these in a pouch. You wont require it daily but in case of emergency, for you or your gym mate, the medical aids can be of great help.



Always place the electronics that you carry to gym on top of the bag. The first is of course your phone. While the next is commonly a good pair of headphones but some also have reading habits in the gym. In that case, do not miss to carry your e-reader along with you. If you are in plan to spend long hours in the gym or have some plan post your gym schedule, then do not miss to carry your power bank or phone charger along with you.

Snacks and drinks


Right after gym, its very usual to feel hungry. Now if you are taking gym seriously, you should carry healthy tucks to eat after work out. It can be a nutrition car or protein shake. Many also carry a fruit as gym snack. So, the choice yours but carrying a gym snack is good to curb the hunger pang that hits right after gym time.

Gym costume


While you can wear your gum costume and go to the gym, many carry it in the gym bag and changes in the gym. Its personal choice but we recommend taking an extra set of garments (including inner wear) to the gym as many a times you might have to change in between long workout hours due to wet and stingy clothes.
