First and foremost,
1. Start thinking in English, stop forming sentences in your most used language.
2. Don't talk fast, try to be fluent and slow. This will give you time to think and talk, hence chances of making mistakes is less.
3. Tell yourself that you can speak as well as others, but basic grammar has to be up-to-date.
4. Slow speed with clear pronounciation and firm statements will help make your speech much more effective.

If you already speak English, improving it in a short period of time requires logic in everything you speak. If you take care of your tenses and prepositions and apply them properly in your speech, English should be easy to use.
If you are a novice, I suggest you actually find a tutor because books can help you with grammar but application of that to speak requires guidance...wish wis you happy learning...
