The Mean is the mathematical average. The most straightforward way to calculate it for grouped data is the Direct Method, represented by the formula: Mean (x̄) = Σ(fᵢxᵢ) / Σfᵢ, where xᵢ represents the class mark (midpoint) of each interval and fᵢ is its corresponding frequency. The Median identifies the value that divides the dataset into two perfectly equal halves.
