Angle subtended by the chord at the centre ($\theta$) = $60^\circ$
Constants: $\pi = 3.14$, $\sqrt{3} = 1.73$

2. Area of the major segment.
Step 1: Calculate the Area of the Sector
The formula for the area of a sector is: $A_{sector} = \frac{\theta}{360^\circ} \times \pi r^2$
$A_{sector} = \frac{60}{360} \times 3.14 \times (15)^2$
$A_{sector} = \frac{1}{6} \times 3.14 \times 225$
