Which courses does suit for to be a better mechanical engineer

Being mechanical engineering you need to uderstand and read Engineering drawing from basic of component drawing to assembly drawing , you need know fundamental design concept , added to the mechanical engineering there are may software available on design , drawing and analysis , if prefer to work automobile... ...more
Being mechanical engineering you need to uderstand and read Engineering drawing from basic of component drawing to assembly drawing , you need know fundamental design concept , added to the mechanical engineering there are may software available on design , drawing and analysis , if prefer to work automobile engineering then it is better to to about Catia , ingeneral pre is basic . Then depending upon the firm you preferred you enhance your knowledge on hypermesh and solid woks, incase of manufacturing firm you better know about CNC programming , if you need further information kindly look my pages on engineering subjects Facebook Bakkiyam Rajendiran , best wishes

How does strain comes in a bar when it is fixed from both the ends? If strain is produced, does that... ...more
How does strain comes in a bar when it is fixed from both the ends? If strain is produced, does that mean the length of bar is increased when it is fixed?

Because of bending moment stain introduced , length of bar increased , it bents by its own weight or applied load
