When switching to some other field, it is mostly curiosity-driven and a ton of effort. If you have an interest in the software field, then you'll have to consider if you are passionate or willing to commit to coding. First, you need to make sure about which software field you want to opt. For instance- Web Development or Python or Java etc. You can always start with free or paid online courses or join any local institution with a little bit of research. That should be followed by joining some company for a job or internship. If your interest persists after a while of work, then you can march ahead. Or Else you need to search for what you are passionate about.
