I have been teaching for almost four decades. I worked abroad in various colleges that offered the Cambridge syllabus, teaching in colleges such as Alpha, Bradley, London, and DAV college. Initially, I worked as a lecturer and became HOD. I was also an examiner of Cambridge for English Language and Literature examiner and a supervisor team leader. In 2010, I returned to India and began teaching in the English department of junior colleges in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. During my tenure in Mauritius, I was awarded the best lecturer award for my exemplary teaching skills. Since 1982, I have been actively teaching BA, MA, and M.ed courses. My passion for teaching has always driven me to excel in my profession, and I am proud to say I have had a successful career. Currently, I teach Spoken English and IELTS to students. My methodology involves teaching reading, writing, speaking and listening modules. My lesson plans are customised to suit each student. I also teach English writing, connectives usage, correlatives, and essays on miscellaneous topics. I also focus on pronunciation and phonetics using clips, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and structured notes. After each class, I provide reading materials and homework to my students, and I conduct doubt-clearing sessions in the next lesson. My classes are transparent and interactive, which helps me to build a good rapport with my students.

I have seven years of experience in preparing students for TOEFL. My experience has primarily been in teaching students individually or in small groups. I focus on more personal instruction in order to give each student the attention they need to improve their TOEFL score.

My focus will always be on understanding of the actual concepts. I rather prefer to make an interactive session with student then just passively teaching him. I have seen that this kind of practice is good for both in many ways.

I started teaching when I was in std IV and my teachers were asking me to discipline std III students and I took the opportunity to teach around 30 students in the class room. I have bee teaching for very long time 20+ years and have teaching experience is USA too. Teaching is most noble profession in the world. If you ask me, ' who builds a nation?' My answer will always be, 'it is the teacher who builds the nation and creates leaders'. I always give practical example while teaching due to extensive experience in Industry and academics. My strength is my patience, knowledge and experience. But most importantly, I get down to level of the students to make it easy for the students to learn. His learning is more critical that my knowledge. Mathematics, accountancy, costing, economics and English are the most loving subjects. I can mix with any age group very easily. I use MS office (excel and word) to teach my students. One of my big accomplishment : The elder daughter of my friend was very scared of math when she was in std IX in the year 1993. I happened to go his house and found out that she was also very shy when I asked her about her education and specially math. I started teaching her at home and in std X she score more than 70 and now she married and running high school coaching center in Bhayander, Mumbai.
