IdentityI am a medical graduate with specialization in Emergency Medicine and having relevant experience for the post. The Emergency care, pre- hospital care ,disaster management planning and its training was started in India from 2009 with Indo-US program as Masters in Emergency Medicine(MEM), grown over period of time and many of the graduates trained under this system. My training of Emergency Medicine(MEM) was completed in 2011. In 2011,after EM specialization, I got the opportunity to start and supervise the similar MEM program as a Course Director in TMH, Durgapur, West Bengal, India, The MEM curriculum was designed in the USA and it was based on their EM curriculum of the residency training program. The clinical training of MEM was based on the same curriculum, which includes didactics for 9 hour/ week by USA and local faculties , bed side teaching, Triaging and ED evaluation of cases , rotations in other specialty, workshops, mortality meet, procedural training, ultrasound training for diagnosis as well as procedure, pre- hospital care training, disaster management training, Resuscitation( ACLS certification of AHA), Trauma care etc. Initially, I was trained and supervised by the USA trained Emergency physicians during my MEM residency program at Max Hospital, Delhi, India in affiliation with George Washington University, Washington , USA and the similar training was carried forward to The Mission Hospital, Durgapur, India in affiliation with North Shore long Island Healthcare, New York, USA as a course director and started supervising the residents and attending consultant for the period of 4 years, which has grown over period of time and the department achieved 27 MEM training residents of different years , 4 attending consultants in Emergency Department. During this last 4 years, more than 10 research and pilot studies were done under my supervision, out of that 3 studies has won awards in EMCON and EMS Asia 2014 and 5 international journal publication. Finally, the US government's top EM body, American College of Emergency Medicine(ACEP) has recognized my significant contribution in Indian EM and awarded the US scholarship in 2013. In 2015, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine(RCEM) has consider my credential for their MRCEM examination as one of the examiner. After completion of my residency training program in 2011, got the post of Head of Emergency department in The Mission Hospital which has patient safety and quality accreditation , National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare, India , which was continued based on the every year inspection and noncompliance in ED by the accreditation authority. My role was to maintain the quality and safety of the patients to the standard, so that there shouldn't be any non compliance during the inspection.

International Conference of Emergency Medicine( ICEM), Singapore 2010, Presented a case report on ACS IN DEXTROCARDIA MOVACON , A conference on Motor Vehicle accident and role of EMS, Ahmadabad, India in Sept 2008. The presentation skills has improved with the 2-3 presentations per month on different EM topics during MEM training and as a course director of the program. Every month, being Head of Emergency , the clinical audit of the ED cases and departmental budget is being presented in front of the stakeholders and provider of the healthcare. The Ethics and values in medical practice came with practice of Evidence based Medicine , which mentored me in such a way , so that there shouldn't be any harm to the patients and do good with respect.
