"What are the [ ] symbols that are used within parenthesis called?" in   Language/Spoken English

Square brackets ([ ]) used inside f parentheses denote something subordinate to the subordinate clause. They are more important in academic writing when the writer needs to add information to a quotation. Normally, a quotation must be presented exactly as it was spoken or written. The square bracket allows the writer to fix mistakes, add explanatory information, change a quote to fit in a sentence, or add emphasis to a word through bold or italics. As with the parentheses, the information in the bracket cannot alter the meaning of the quoted material. See example below: Example of square bracket use in grammar: “Books used [in classes] show methods of finding information but not much information in preparation of the review [italics added]” (Libutti & Kopala, 1995, p. 15).

"How do you spell English correctly?" in   Language/Spoken English

English and ????l??/ is the phonetic transcription. Did you mean why is English spelling so hard? I agree it is not easy when you're still learning to spell correctly.

"what are Polysyllabic Words?" in   Language/Spoken English

Anything more than 1 syllable strictly speaking, however mostly used by linguists and other dreary breeds such as grammar teachers like me, for words of more than 3- syllables. We could say di-syllabic, tri-syllabic, for words of two and three syllables respectively, but after that it's polysyllabic! Examples: uxorious, renegade, helicopter, reconciliation, insignificant, dependability.

"a before a vowel is possible?" in   Language/Spoken English

You can use the article 'a' before words that start with a consonant sound and 'an' before words that start with a vowel sound. So you can say for example, "An honourable man.." though the adjective starts with h, Also with sums of money: "That is a one- hundred dollar bill" The o sound is won here.which is not a vowel. The wonderful rule of thumb for use of articles, 'a before consonants and an before vowels' has several exceptions! But then again this has some logic- If there is an adjective or an adverb-adjective combination before the noun, A(AN) should agree with the first sound in the adjective or the adverb-adjective combination.

Teaching Experience in detail in Spoken English classes

I thoroughly enjoy teaching English because I can help children, students, professionals express themselves in a different language a language they may know but are not using to the utmost. As people gain self confidence, they start to try new things, question some things, obtain and seek new opportunities It is thrilling both for the student and for me to see their world open up. I am an English, Communications and Cultural Skills Consultant and Voice Over artist with 12+ years of experience in developing and delivering training programs in communication and presentation skills, spoken and written English, voice and accent modification, corporate etiquette and personality development. My trainees include college students, people migrating to any countries where English is needed, IETS test takers, professionals Some clients are: o Motilal Oswal o Mehta Equities Pvt. Ltd. o Eureka Forbes o Tata Communications Ltd. o Tata Infotech Ltd. (TCS) o HDFC o Epicenter Technologies Pvt. Ltd. o WNS o KPMG o SlashSupport Pvt Ltd (Chennai) o FIS o ICICI First Source o Wipro Technologies (IT team) o Sitel India o Intelenet Global Services o J P Morgan Chase For personal reasons, so that I have more time to pursue my own further studies, now I am taking IELTS students and a few others in small batches rather than at corporates.
