IdentityI was lucky to be among the First Batch of India's Information Technology digeratis during Dr. Manmohan Singh's "Liberalization of the Indian Economy" year of 1990. Even before the advent of the Personal Computers, we were busy: Collating & Disseminating India's business data across the globe as Yellow Pages, KOMPASS Business Registers etc.
In the coming of age of IT Revolution, we were the first ones computing "The Econonist's" Business Intelligence Reports on the India for the Global Village.
Although, I had begun a career on Teaching in Schools, I later took to "Training Manpower" on various subjects including: Sales & Marketing, Kinesics (Body Language), Effective Communications, Communications in a competitive environment, Positioning: Brand & Image.
The creative instincts in me drew me to the world of ADVERTISING: DIGITAL, PRINT & ELECTRONIC Media. As an AdMan wrote Campaigns in full fledged Ad. Agencies, made TV Commercials, Radio Jingles and went on to PUBLIC RELATIONS in India's finest PR Agencies: Abacus, Raabta & lastly Orion.
Pioneered the concept of Exploratory Holidays in India. Went on to add a dozen new destinations on the Indian Tourism Map, winning several awards in the category of: Most PROMISING NEW Destination and Most INNOVATIVE Product awards between 1997-2001.
Currently, running a small Travel & Idea consulting firm with 37 years of learning & sharing experience.
