Harikrishnan

Hi, My name is Harikrishnan & I hold an Integrated Master's Degree in Science from the Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kochi (2006-2011). Post my academics, I have worked in prominent research labs inside the country and abroad including IITs, doing experimental research in laser physics and quantum physics, and have strong fundamental knowledge in most areas of physics, statistics, and allied mathematics. As a filler/part-time gig, I have taught both Physics and Maths to students till +2 in the student's tuition and entrance coaching center for a tenure of 3 years. Here I developed my communication and interaction skills with the subsequent generation of students. I can teach all fundamentals of Physics at 10+2 level that includes statics, mechanics, kinematics, optics, electricity, electronics, magnetism, atomic/quantum physics, etc. My fundamentals in Chemistry & Biology are also strong although I stick with teaching Physics and Maths up to the +2 level. I am the recipient of an International Award for long terms contributions to the field of optical physics in the years 2009 & 2011 from a renowned society based in USA.

In competitive examinations, I was among the top 1% in Kerala State Engineering Entrance Examination (2006), Cochin University Entrance Examination (CAT - 2006), and AIEEE Engineering Entrance Examination (2006). I secured engineering seats in all three but decided to stick with the Integrated MSc degree. I stuck to my entrepreneurial journey after 4 years of academic research and R&D consultancy post my Masters's degree and launched my first company in 2015 in lasers and optical instruments and devices. I topped it up with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management - Kozhikode (2018-21), which is now the 3rd top institution in India in terms of NIRF Rankings. During that period, I started my second company in the field of marketing, advertising, and branding in 2019. I have consulted/provided services to around 150 startups and small-medium businesses and successfully executed projects with MNCs and bigger brands. I can teach business studies with clarity and competitiveness- mainly in the areas of sales, marketing, strategy, brand management, entrepreneurship, new ventures, etc. Also feel free to ask me for tips and techniques for preparing for competitive exams like CAT/GMAT etc. Currently, I am preparing to do my Ph.D. in Management Studies while I run my own venture.
