Lalit Mohan

With a wealth of experience spanning eight years in teaching the French language, I am deeply passionate about imparting linguistic skills and cultural appreciation to my students. Armed with a Master's degree in French, I have dedicated myself to guiding learners of all ages and backgrounds on their journey to proficiency in the language of Molière.

My journey as a French language educator began in 2016, where I initially focused on teaching students from 10th to 12th grade in schools. Over time, I expanded my teaching repertoire to include classes for working professionals, as well as preparation courses for the DELF examination. Many of my students have successfully settled in French-speaking countries like Canada, thanks to their proficiency in the language.

One of the highlights of my teaching career is my versatility in catering to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. From teaching children as young as 5 years old to coaching a 55-year-old lady, I have adapted my teaching methods to suit the unique needs and learning styles of each individual.

As a visiting faculty member at Delhi University, I have had the privilege of sharing my expertise with higher education students, further enriching my teaching experience and contributing to academic discourse in the field of French studies.

My commitment to excellence in teaching is underscored by my academic achievements, including the publication of my own presentation in French language, which is housed in the Delhi University library. This accomplishment reflects my dedication to scholarly pursuits and my passion for advancing the field of French linguistics.

In my teaching practice, I employ a dynamic and interactive approach, combining traditional methods with modern technology to create engaging learning experiences. Whether online or offline, my classes typically last between one to one and a half hours, allowing ample time for immersive learning and student engagement.

Utilizing PowerPoint presentations, PDF resources, and interactive exercises, I facilitate a comprehensive learning experience that covers all aspects of language acquisition, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural nuances. Regular tests and assignments are provided to assess progress and reinforce learning objectives.

As I continue on my journey as a French language educator, I remain committed to inspiring a love for the French language and culture in my students and equipping them with the linguistic skills and cultural awareness they need to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
