I have an experience of over 2 years of teaching as a private home tutor. I have given tuitions to students of classes 4th-6th studying in some of the leading schools like DPS,Loyala,Don Bosco,Notre dame academy(foremost schools for girls in Patna) etc. Students have shown encouraging results in their successive exams. Moreover, I have helped one of my cousins with their 10th boards in English and Social sciences. Being a CBSE student I am well aware of the syllabus/curriculum and teaching pattern followed in schools.
The pedagogy I use as a teacher is to develop a sense of mutual understanding between the teacher and the taught(student ). Initially,I observe the basic comprehension of my pupils and their subjects of interest. I assess the areas that have scope for improvement and require more attention.Afterwards, I plan their study schedule accordingly. As a teacher,I believe students need to stay motivated and centred on their goals. They should be awarded regularly with test appraisals for the progress and efforts they are making.It propels them to strive for the better.
I try to ensure that my students are on the progressive path and dedicate my time towards the same.
