– Was geht ab?: This is equivalent is What’s up? It’s used as a greeting and to inquire person’s well-being in a very informal way.

– Na?: It’s a common way of greeting people by saying Naaaa? which means Well?? It’s not a question you have to answer.

– Auf Jeden Fall: One can hear this alot – it means “in every case” or “in no case”, and it’s just a common way of saying “for sure!” One can also say “auf keinen Fall” to mean definitely not.

– Mach’s Gut: It’s a cool way to say goodbye. It translates literally to mean “make it good”, but it means something more to “have a good one”.

– Nö/Nee: Mostly rather than saying “nein”, (no) in conversation one can hear nö said much more often.
