Clinical and classroom training for undergraduate BDS students. I have been working as a senior lecturer in Tagore dental college, Chennai for past three years. I have incorporated various innovative teaching learning methodologies like peer assisted learning, concept mapping, brain mapping, online MCQ and quizzes and case studies. I have motivated many students for doing research in the field of dentistry and many students have done papers and posters under my guidance and won prizes at various national conferences and seminars. I have been also exposed to preparing lesson planners, work sheets, teaching schedule to cover the subjects effeciently to the students.

Hi.. I am dr. Deepika from Chennai. I am basically a dental doctor , did my masters in speciality of oral medicine and radiology. I am currently working as a senior lecturer in Tagore dental college, Chennai with three years of teaching and clinical work experience. I am managing academics for BDS students by doing clinical and class room training. I have done five research project and have a publication in a high impact national journal. I have also motivated many students to do reasearch and many students have done various papers and posters in various seminars and conferences under my guidance and won prizes . I have also incorporated various teaching learning methodologies like peer assisted learning, concept mapping, brain mapping,conducted online MCQ test and quizzes, case studies for students in my workplace. I have also been working on preparing lesson planners, work sheets, teaching schedule and Direct Observation Procedure systen (DOPS) for good understanding of the students to understand the concepts of learning. My passion is to make students like the subjects and learn without compulsion. I believe that I am capable of making the students understand the subjects easily .
