From the beginning as and when I joined and completed my masters in social work the very thought in the mind at the time of joining was to do some kind of social work that could be at par my personal satisfaction and expectation. I was very much interested and keen towards gaining and giving back education and knowledge to the needy especially the underprivileged ones who can hardly afford and bear the cost of education.
During my study period, I did my internship with India Renal Foundation and held various awareness sessions over various harmful effects on kidney; it’s functioning and failure reasons and how to keep the kidney healthy and safe by drinking lots of water, with government school children in Baroda.
I did my Research Project on ‘Breast Cancer in Women’ at Muni Seva Ashram, Goraj and took various awareness sessions with women mainly from the underprivileged section of society that came there for treatment. The awareness was created regarding less knowledge about breast self examination at home which was the cheapest method one can opt, also I used to tell them about the causes of breast cancer in women which has become the major cause of death in women in their late 30’s.
I also did a short summer internship from GMERS government hospital, Baroda on “mental health issues of child and women” and “psychiatric disorders related to tobacco and alcohol consumption in men” in this we did awareness sessions and rallies related to the same.
Then I started my carrier with Ashray Social Welfare Foundation as project facilitator in quest alliance, skill to succeed where I am trainee adolescent boys who come from financially backward section of society and need grooming and skills to survive in the professional world
