Shaji Kalidasan (@shajiindia) holds a masters degree in computer science, has been working on software development projects since 1999. He is a technology consultant with over 17+ years of experience in enterprise systems and business applications. He is responsible for product development initiatives and forward-looking research. Shaji is a lover of wisdom and a passionate student of life, he studies, embodies and shares the universal truths.

He began his software career when he found himself automating large portions of one of his first jobs and then later worked with some big firms. He has roughly 17 years of experience in the software industry and many additional years of personal software experience during which he has done everything from coding to architecture to leading and managing teams of engineers. Through his various positions, he has been exposed to design patterns and other architectural concepts for years.

Conducted corporate training in Perl for internet search giant Yahoo! (3 batches - total of 27 Yahoo engineers) and media and information firm Thomson Reuters (1 batch - a total of 6 Thomson Reuters engineers). Worked on short term Perl projects (< 1 month) for dozens of IT companies ranging from fortune 500 to small startups. Successfully trained 200+ IT professionals apart from imparting real-time project based training in Perl.
