Overview

Being a distinction holder all throughout my dance career, I decided to begin my career in teaching Kathak dance on the advice of my guru, Sri Bipul Das, the first disciple of Pandit Birju Maharaj and began doing extremely well in it. All the cards that I received on teacher's day from my beloved pupils bears testimony to the fact. Although I didn't get to spend too much of time with my students because of my marriage and shifting to a new city, I always loved being with my pupils. I believe the fact that, I never distinguish between one student from the other as regards their ability to learn stets me apart from the rest. In fact, I love dealing with students who don't grasp things at the first go because it gives me the chance to rack my brains a little time, thereby enhancing my own skills. So, looking forward to another memorable experience with the little angels!!
