IdentityI Started teaching because teaching is a passion, is in family and because I wanted to pass on my rich experience to the younger generation.
I have been teaching for 16 years.
It is the sheer joy of seeing a plant grow into a tree. It is a wonderful experience to see a student whom you have taught ten to fifteen years coming back and introducing himself/herself and saying that she/he is holding a top position. Company of youngsters keep me young.
Teaching style is highly interactive. I give several examples, most of which are highly practical and which strengthens the conceptual knowledge of students.
My excellent communication skills in different languages, thirty five years of Corporate Experience, making studies a pleasure and not a pressure, ability to come down to the level of the students and a liberal dose of humour with practical knowledge are my big strengths.
Marketing subjects, soft skills and English are the subjects I love the most
I have been teaching from Class IX to Class X in schools, Class XI & Class XII, graduation and MBA. At the professional level, I am a Corporate Trainer for the past 16 years.
Teaching school students needs lot of patience as they tend to be immature but when once you establish a bond, it is wonderful.
Class XII, Class XII and Graduation level students are more mature - you are able to interact at a more mature level and this is very enjoyable.
MBA students are more mature. You can treat them like friends and yet maintain a distance. You can share with them your practical experiences in the Corporate world and they really appreciate such live examples. It is an excellent experience.
So far as Corporate Training is concerned, it is totally at a professional level and it gives a very good sense of satisfaction.
So far as my learning is concerned, I have leaned a lot. Following are the areas of my learning :
a) My theoretical knowledge of the subject has vastly improved
b) I have learned to be more patient.
c) Public speaking skills have become excellent.
d) My students have helped me learn Marathi
e) My style of teaching has improved tremendously
f) Four Ps of Marketing is what I had learned and taught in Management courses. Teaching has taught me the four Ps for being a Professor. It has taught me to be a) a Professor b) Philosopher c) Pal d) Papa to my students.
I have had several students holding top positions and still keeping in touch with me and taking guidance from me in their Corporate affairs.
