No language dies ever!! It is just modified and made more relavent for the contemporary uses. You will find this happening everywhere. Like Javascript is still there but people are using, React, Express, Angular etc which are nothing but a little interpretation of the language into small sub-systems... ...more

Why do we still use C language?

A lot of fundamental stuff are still written in C, even some parts of Python is built using C and so do other similar languages. C is not gone entirely, most of the contemparory language are just an interpretation of C and dependent on it.

No language dies ever!! It is just modified and made more relavent for the contemporary uses. You will find this happening everywhere. Like Javascript is still there but people are using, React, Express, Angular etc which are nothing but a little interpretation of the language into small sub-systems... ...more

Why do we still use C language?

A lot of fundamental stuff are still written in C, even some parts of Python is built using C and so do other similar languages. C is not gone entirely, most of the contemparory language are just an interpretation of C and dependent on it.

See, every language has its own pros and cons or merits and demerits whatever you want to call it.

Python has a user friendly syntax, it is not strictly typed language meaning if you ignore using parenthesis it will allow it. So python is popular mostly because of its easy syntax and ofcourse its data science and automation applications.

 

Java on the other hand, provides a wide variety of application uses, most of the large software systems are made using Java, it has been a market leader for a long time now.
