IdentityI am a physicist and giving home tuition since 2006. I have a Ph.D. degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology.
I have been privileged to have opportunities for teaching at all stages of my carrier. As a Lecturer, I took a physics course for grade 11 and 12 students. During my graduation period, I taught a fundamental physics course to undergraduate students. I thoroughly enjoyed my previous assignments and look forward to the challenging opportunity to inspire young minds.
I believe that the key to learning physics is patients and persistence. Physics can be difficult and it often requires repeated trials and failures before concepts can be mastered. Course lectures are an essential part of physics learning. They should complement rather than parrot the textbook, and they should spark curiosity and interest in the subject. In my opinion, an effective physics course creates
an opportunity for many cycles of problem-solving, paired with swift feedback
from students.
Mathematics is the language of physics, and I prefer is students have a strong
foundation in the mathematical formalism of physical theories. However, only
sound mathematical foundations are not enough and as mentor I have tried
to make students realize the rich physics concepts embedded in fundamental
equations.
