I am a strong believer in concept-based gain of knowledge. I start from scratch while teaching the very basic concepts and take my students to a level where they have a deep understanding of the subject. Once they understand the concept, the next step is that practice a lot of questions/numerical/problem in the class itself as practice is the key to retaining the knowledge. I always refer to prescribed books by CBSE/ICSE board but always encourage students to refer additional 1 or 2 books based on their speed to practice. In last I provide them enough homework to practice at home and send me the doubts before the next class. This approach till date have been fruitful as most of my students excel in the school exams as well as in next classes

30 years experience

I have over 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Science to students from grades 6 to 10. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, ensuring a strong foundation in both subject knowledge and pedagogical skills. My teaching approach is student-centric, focusing on building a deep understanding of concepts and fostering a love for learning. I have successfully helped numerous students improve their grades and build confidence in their abilities through personalized lesson plans and engaging teaching methods.

Teaching Experience I have a total of 4 years of teaching experience, specializing in Mathematics for students from Grade 5 to Grade 10. Over the course of my career, I have worked with students from both CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and State Board curriculums, tailoring my teaching methods to meet the specific academic standards and learning objectives of each board. My teaching journey includes 3 years of experience in online education, where I utilized a variety of digital platforms and tools to create interactive and engaging virtual classrooms. I am adept at using online whiteboards, educational apps, and assessment tools to enhance student understanding and participation in a remote learning environment. Key responsibilities and contributions: Developed and delivered structured lesson plans aligned with CBSE and State Board syllabi. Provided personalized attention to students with varying levels of ability and learning styles. Conducted regular assessments, tests, and quizzes to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. In IB I am most focus about skill based language learning where I am giving opportunity to practice listening, reading , speaking and writing to the students through multi model text ( like - Video, text , images) to the student. If I am taking about CBSE then I am focusing about the Hindi Grammar part as well as language learning skills according to the students assessment requirements. In IGCSE also for G9 students I am most focus about their final examination requirements and prepare them accordingly .
