Learn Factors Facilitating Learning

Knowledge is the only thing in the world that can be increased by sharing. Every time I am teaching , I am learning. I always feel I learn from my students. My teaching philosophy: TO TEACH MY STUDENTS HOW TO LEARN.. and not simply WHAT TO LEARN.

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and have been teaching Commerce subjects—primarily Accounting and Economics—for the past 4 years. I work with BCom/BSc students and CA aspirants, helping them build strong conceptual clarity and practical understanding. Teaching is my passion and hobby, and I focus on delivering quality education by maintaining small group sizes (2–3 students at a time). This allows me to give individual attention, ensuring that every student understands the concepts thoroughly and gains confidence. My teaching approach is practical-based, designed to bridge the gap between academic theories and real-world industry applications. I emphasize how concepts are applied in actual business environments—both in private and public sectors—so students can connect textbook knowledge to real scenarios. I prefer conducting online, individual sessions to provide personalized support and address each student’s learning style and pace. I teach using a whiteboard for clear and visual explanations. For CA students, I recommend specific books aligned with the syllabus. For Class 11 and 12, I rely on their existing school books but provide additional notes or references on request to avoid overloading them. While I haven't pursued awards in teaching, the positive feedback from my students and their academic success bring me immense satisfaction. My goal is to make learning effective, relevant, and engaging for every student I teach.

I have completed my M.Sc. in Physics along with a B.Ed., which has given me both strong subject expertise and professional pedagogical training. I'm in the teaching profession for the past 20 years, teaching across all boards with Online and home tutoring experience. I have been a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya and in a school in Chennai for about 10 years, predominantly teaching Chemistry. I teach Art & Crafts too, where I make it an activity-oriented course, with lots of activity materials. As my husband's job requires lots of traveling, I have been on a move on most part of my life. While I was in the US, I had been conducting tutoring for Accelerated Chemistry and taught most of the IB students while I was in Shanghai. Now I have been associated with many NGOs, where I teach lots of students, along with kids who are Underprivileged and visually impaired. I have done my PG in Forensic Chemistry, and then completed my MBA in education management. I also hold a Cambridge international diploma for teacher training. In terms of Art & Crafts, I'm a Fevrical Certified Art teacher and have cleared Chinese Art Exam, while I was at Shanghai I can't wait to meet you and get to work!

Our results have been extra ordinary and one of our student from DPS greater Noida scored 100 marks in accounts in 2021-22 session.
