Overview

I'd like to talk about my first teaching experience. It was in the Fall of 2010. I had to teach all subjects. I had taught before, but it was always 2-3 students at a time. I had no experience of classroom teaching. So I was more than a little worried. My first teaching experience taught me a lot about what it means to be a teacher and a lot about myself, as a future educator. For example, I always knew that coming up with lesson plans was not easy, so I'm glad that I was able to have this experience to prepare me for it in the future. I also learned that I do not have a good sense of time when I am teaching, so I now know to make sure to make a schedule of what will be done at that time.
