Dr. Amit Chakraborty

I am holding a bachelor's degree from burdwan university, followed by a master's degree from iit kanpur. I pursued my ph.D. Under the guidance of prof. V. Chandrasekhar at iit kanpur. Subsequently, I embarked on my postdoctoral journey at niser bhubaneswar, followed by working with prof. Rahul banerjee at ncl pune as a serb npdf fellow. Later, I joined tifr hyderabad for my postdoctoral work and then took up the role of assistant professor at maharishi markendeshwar university in ambala. Currently, I am honored to serve as a ds kothari postdoctoral fellow at jadavpur university, kolkata. My academic achievements include securing the 9th rank in all india jam and the 94th rank in gate within the general category. Additionally, I have qualified for the csir-ugc net in the csir category. I have been recognized and awarded prestigious fellowships, including the serb-npdf and ds kothari postdoctoral fellowships. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of teaching undergraduate-level theory and postgraduate-level practical courses at iit kanpur during my ph.D. Program. I have also shared my knowledge and expertise by instructing both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in inorganic and organic chemistry at maharishi markendeshwar university in ambala. Furthermore, I have contributed to the field of chemistry through my research, publishing numerous research papers and book chapters.
