He completed his Post Graduation in theatre arts at the University of Hyderabad with a specialization in acting. After that, he was selected for the prestigious contemporary dance institution; Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, Bangalore, India. There he did a Diploma course in contemporary dance with exposer in various art forms. Now, he has been a part of many prestigious productions as an actor trainer. Since 2012, Ram has been working as a performer as well as an instructor in voice and movement, which are an integral part of actor training methods in academic institutions and theatre societies. He is also got esteemed fellowships for practice-based works , such as international theatre residency project at South Korea; a Choreography workshop conducted by GATI at Delhi; Theatre du Soleil regarding Ecole Nomade, Theatre workshop felicitated By Ariane Mnouchkine at Pondicherry; Guru ShishyaParampar (teacher-disciple tradition) to practice and research Mayurbanj Chhau traditional Dance at Mayurbanj, Odisha, sponsored by Sri Ratan TATA foundation collaboration with Attakkalari center for movement arts Bangalore. He has received a Junior Fellowship from Ministry of Culture, India, in the category of outstanding theatre persons in the theatre field.
