I graduated with a BA(Hons) degree in Economics from Delhi University. Following this, I joined Charity Science Health in New Delhi, as a Research Assistant and worked there for one year.
In my previous role, I was responsible for setting up the door to door data collection using Survey CTO to collect child and mother vaccination records data. For the first few months, I was responsible for hiring the field team and coding up surveys in Survey CTO. After the data started coming in, my primary focus shifted to Data Analysis (in R) and building and tuning our M&E systems to help monitor field activities, perform distribution checks to further tune our survey tool, generate automatic reports for field managers to utilize, and deploying all of this online in form of a dashboard for anyone to utilize (link to the R Shiny dashboa All of this piloting and testing was to help us get ready for a RCT which would be run, once the M&E systems and the survey tool were tuned to our satisfaction.
I love coding, Mathematics, playing around with data especially visualizing it in different ways. I was blown off when I learned about the Hadley Wickham's ggplot library in R from his 'R for Data Science' book. That is what got me into R (my main coding language). I have taken various MOOCS, Harvard's CS50 course, Stanford's Machine Learning course, etc.
