You study well if you understand the concepts well. But the first step is to start a habit of sitting and giving full attention to your study material. Take a small portion at a time and take up the next ones subsequently. Once you start giving your undivided attention, you will fall into the habit of studying well. Do take the guidance of mentors wherever you get stuck.
