Preface: MATLAB for Engineers, is an introductory course in MATLAB and technical computing. It is used for freshmen classes at various universities and companies. The course focuses on the specific features of MATLAB that are useful for engineering classes. The lab sessions are used with one main goal: to allow students to become familiar with  MATLAB and to solve application problems. We assume that the students have no prior experience with MATLAB.

Objectives:

1) The primarily objective is to help you learn quickly the first steps. The emphasis here is learning by doing. Therefore, the best way to learn is by trying it yourself. Working through the examples will give you a feel for the way that MATLAB operates. In the introductory classes, we will describe how MATLAB handles simple numerical expressions and mathematical formulas.

2)The class progress with the aim to make candidates trained to solve mathematical and engineering problems of various difficulty levels. Moreover, Basic knowledge about Simulink will be given to the candidates.

3) The course will be structured based on the conventional but interactive syllabus. Also, intensive training will be focused to solve real-world problems.

4) If possible, assistance will be provided for solving final year projects too.

5) If interested, the students are given options to learn optimization and machine learning as add-on features.

6) Trainees are executed to bring a laptop with Matlab installed.
