Your grades doesn't matter in a company. It is the "Practical Experience" that matters in a company. Things that companies are expecting from an embedded engineers are:
1) Basic knowledge of Digital Electronics
2) Elementary level of Microcontollers(like setting of bits, basic peripherals etc)
3) Good programming skills
4) Average knowledge of Electronic & Semiconductor devices
5) Ability to build basic circuits
6) Debugging Skills
read lessI am a student with 58% in Intermediate. Most of the companies look for a minimum of 65% throughout academics, to even appear for an interview. However, if you have got the perfect skillset required to be an Embedded Developer, your academics no longer matter. It is my own experience. I got trained from Kernel Masters, Hyderabad. They teach everything correctly, with hands-on experience. So with that kind of skillset, it was easy for me to go to an interview and get shortlisted. I did not find my average academics a hindrance anywhere. I even got placed in Graphene Semiconductors, Bangalore in Automotive domain.
