Yes, you can very well go to Canada as a Student initially for a minimum of upto 2 years & then getting a job may be little easier. What you need to know is the Cost involved and assurity of returns via an interesting career of your choice. Currently lot of students are prefering to go to Canada as USA has become quite alert about H1B but beware if you truly see the student intake in Canada V/s Jobs available with a realtively low population, the situation does not look very promising.

If you are between 18 - 30, open to or interested to be a true global citizen of the future Japan is highly promising place to be. With minimum qualification of HSC Pass or any higher degree one can find excellent careers via Japan just by being a Language Student in Japan for 2 years at a very low cost with very well paid Part Time Work. Hi Yogesh,

There is nothing impossible. But, your question includes three basic things:

1. You want a job in Canada.

2. You don't have a Visa.

3. You don't have skills.

So, my recommendation for the first part is why Canada? Why not India? Ask yourself and decide on it first. If you still can convince yourself that you can do better in Canada then in India, Then move to the second one. Before Visa, you need to have a Passport and if you have obtained it already then comes the third part into play that you need to have a certain skill.

Regarding skill, I will say there is no one on this earth who does not possess any skill. You just need to do some introspection and I am sure you will be able to find out many skills in you which can prove you better than others.

My suggestion, rather than looking for an uncertain career in a foreign nation you can do a lot on your own soil, with less, budget, fewer hassles, and much more cooperation and help from your family and friends.

Still, if you wanna go abroad, first find out your best caliber or skills or field of interest, prepare yourself, contact a government recognized consultancy in your own area so that you have enough knowledge about them, get your Visa and fly to Canada.

If you think you can do wonders in Canada being alone, I am sure you can do much better in India too, where you have whole country to support you.

Hello Yogesh, many people want to go abroad - Canada or any other Developed Countries, directly on Job Visas. Going directly on Job Visas is not as easy as it sounds. Whichever be the country, the basic processes remain the same, as described below:

1. Some Company abroad, say Canada in your case, has to offer you a Job;

2. They then have to apply to the Government there stating that they want to call you to Canada because they have tried their best to recruit a suitable person locally in Canada but have not found any for the relevant job, and you have the relevant qualification and skills that are required for the job, and therefore the Government should give permission to allow you to come to Canada on a Job Visa;

3. The Government would then examine and evaluate the application from the Company along with the evidences submitted by the company, check their "Skills Shortage Occupations" list as well as their "Unemployment Registry". This process is known as "LABOR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT" or LMIA;

4. Then, if the claims of the company are found justified, the Government may issue an LMIA Clearance Certificate to the Company, effectively allowing you to go on a Job Visa to Canada.

My question is, who is going to offer you a job in Canada, who is going to resort to all the trouble to get LMIA clearance for you, and WHY would the Government allow you to come into Canada? Also, what skills do you have which are in real short supply in Canada so that there's nobody available locally?

As the Indian applicants are usually very desperate to go abroad, there are many fraudulent consultants preying upon unsuspecting applicants, such as you. They would assure you of getting a job there, even getting LMIA (all fraudulent), they'll actually have interviews conducted for you by Skype, produce all the evidences such as Website of the Lawyer or the Company there in Canada, and also get for you a genuine looking LMIA and in the process, extract as much money as is possible, starting with small amounts of Rs 5,000 or Rs 10,000 on one pretext or the other and gradually increasing their demands, and before you know it, realize it, you'll be down by lacs upon lacs of Rupees, and then all your dreams would crash down.

So BEWARE!

That's why the most appropriate route of going abroad is the Study Visa route whereby you go on a Study Visa (if you are ELIGIBLE for it), then in accordance with their local laws, find work and settle down with PR - Permanent Residence. This is what the other Consultants on this forum have suggested the Study Visa route.

With best wishes - Ravi Goenka, JAIPUR
