Namaskaram!! I am a post graduate degree holder in Carnatic music (veena) and have been taking carnatic veena classes both online and in person for the past 10 years.
Both the practical and theory aspect of the subject will be covered. Notes for the lessons will be sent by e-mail .
Medium of instruction will be in English/tamil/kannada/Hindi.History of Indian music, evolution of the musical instrument,Maintanence of the instrument,changing of strings etc will also be taught in the class.
Classes will be conducted over Skype.Periodic tests will also be conducted. Further reading materials/ books will also be suggested.
Students of any age group / gender can join the class. Sessions will be interactive and the progess will be adjusted to suit the students calibre.
No prior knowledge in music is necessary to join the class.
