All India Boufuuukai Isshinryu Karate Association was formed by Renshi. A.R.Sundar is a 6th Dan Black Belt. The word Boufuuukai means â??Stormâ??. Our Logo represents â??Peace and Power with Meditationâ??. It has the weapon â??Saiâ?? and â??Fistâ?? of Isshinryu Punch
Boufuuukai Isshinryu Karate Institute which was started in the year 1997 has more than 15 Branches in Chennai City which includes big institutions like Women Christian College,The Groove, P.S.Senior Secondary School & Gateway International School. More than 5000 students have been trained in the Martial Arts of Karate & Kobudo. Around 175 students have got Black Belts from this Institution. Our Institute is affiliated to Isshinryu Karate & Kobudo Association of India & Isshinryu Brotherhood, USA. Our institute got the first recognition in India for Isshinryu Karate style by AIKF.
Institute has other certified Black Belt Instructors who assist in the classes. Renshi.AR.Sundar oversees every class taught at the school.
