As part of his search for methods to relieve my own suffering, I discovered hypnotherapy and found it helpful, because of how it uses the mechanism of an altered state to tap into information held in deeper parts of the self. It was a mode of therapy that went beyond the purely cognitive. By using the principles and understandings of the cognitive mind in order to modify the other levels of being; I am able to help you get back into contact with your authentic self, rather than merely masking or manipulating your symptoms.
