Born and brought up in Mumbai Maharashtra, I have a masters in pharmacy from SNDT WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY in Mumbai and a diploma in storytelling from Kathalaya Academy of Storytelling in Bengaluru. I have 11 years of professional experience as a trainee quality assurance chemist in Maneesh Pharmaceuticals Limited (1 year) and a pharma consultancy in Tata Consultancy Services Limited (10 years). As a pharmacist, I have worked in Mumbai, Udaipur, Bengaluru and Trivandrum. In 2015, I started teaching spoken English to adults belonging to 18 to 35 years of age as part of corporate social responsibility initiative for times of india with knowledge partner British council as well as security and house keeping staff of Tata consultancy services limited in Bengaluru. In 2018, I started teaching carnatic vocal to children between 5 to 16 years of age offline in Bengaluru. During COVID in 2020, I moved to Trivandrum to live with my parents and started teaching carnatic vocal online from 2022. I am trained in carnatic vocal for 20+ years under the tutelage of Smt Meera Parvathanathan, Smt Jaya Subramanian and Dr Meera Sankarankutty. I gave my first 2 hour carnatic vocal performance at Pottakaneyum Devi Temple at Kayamkulam Kerala in 2014.
