The Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning (RMCL) was established in 1979 as a non-profit, non-sectarian registered society. Its objective is to create greater awareness of the timeless heritage and culture of India, with particular focus on the life and teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. The Centre draws its strength and inspiration from Sri Ramana Maharshi. The Govt. of India has recognized it as one of the premier cultural organizations of India.
The Centre is closely linked to Sri Ramanasramam, Tiruvannamalai and has the full support of its President, Sri V.S.Ramanan.The Asram website is www.sriramanamaharshi.org.
The activities of the 'Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning' are multifaceted. Its Shrine and Meditation Centre at Bangalore, is a spiritual oasis. In order to achieve its objectives it is publishing a monthly magazine 'The Ramana Way'. From the month of March 2005, the Censre has launched a youth magazine as a part of its programme for awakening youth power.
