He then underwent rigorous Gurukulavasam training for over 11 years under Late Sri Akella Mallikarjuna Sharma Garu, a traditional immersive method that deeply shaped his musical discipline, understanding, and artistry. Over the years, Vasu has performed in more than 1,700 concerts across India in solo, duet, and accompaniment formats.
