Career Counselling started parallel to my interview training to students for jobs since last 20 years. Following have been observed while counselling a lot of students from various academic and socio-cultural backgrounds. A career is simply not something you like so it will happen. It is a serious homework before you say yes to a direction in life with as much awareness as possible so that tomorrow you avoid not liking it or not fitting in. Its human nature. Therefore a career that can be enjoyed is the one that matches ones inborn abilities naturally. Career counseling over the last few years has taken a more in-depth study of the individual so as to minimize the chance of lack of interest , conviction or commitment later in life. Students who have shown very good results by taking career counselling course and have hugely benefited.

This was further reinforced by the results I got in TOEFL (108/120) and IELTS (7.5 bands out of 9) around the same time without preparation. My cross-cultural living in different parts of the country and South East Asia really helped me connect with the candidate well to help relate to examples in learning. Understanding a candidate's learning style has always taught me to teach successfully. Candidates have been happy to interact and feel satisfaction. Then you can venture out on online platforms offering online turtoring opportunities in India and abroad.
Share your certification and start teaching. Share your log of teaching hours and students as part of your experience and keep loggin in more hours.

Listen to plenty of basic English. Copy the pronunciation. Practice speaking slow in neutral accent.
Listen to the words, phrases, and short sentences. Practice speaking slow in neutral accent.
When you are able to pronounce words correctly, practice speaking short sentences slowly in neutral accent.
Thereafter, try building up your vocabulary, understand the usage and continue practice speaking more and more and take feedback from trainers, friends and family and focus on improvement areas.
