resistance is the measure of opposing force to stop the flow of current exhibited by a resistor. It is a real component. But impedance is the sum of resistance exhibited by resistor, capacitor and inductor. In other words impedance is the complex form of resistance.

The natural or original diamonds are formed by the extreme heating and extreme pressure acting on carbon atoms underneath the earth crust. So those extreme pressure and temperature forces the carbon atoms to organize in a tetrahedral form i.e. diamond rather than forming graphite. This process of changing in the phase on application of extreme temperature and extreme pressure is termed as phase transformation. So the carbon transforms its phase to tetrahedra form when extreme heat of about 2200 degrees Fahrenheit and extreme pressure is applied. Synthetic diamonds are formed nowadays by either High temperature and high pressure technique which is same as the process occurring in earth crust. But it will be having some impurities. Another method is by using chemical vapour deposition technique.
