  • Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.

  • Minds are like parachutes. They only function properly when open.

  • Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.

  • You can have results or excuses not both.

  • Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up.

  • Discipline is doing what you knowneeds to be done, even if you don’t want to do it.

  • You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

  •  Change comes with pain. But this pain later becomes a gain. To explain it well,"no pain, no gain"! Endure the pain and make a difference.

  • You have to decide where you have to be.

An active lifestyle isn’t a number, it’s a feeling. Steps, miles, and other numbers are external validation measurements used to give a visual representation of a feeling.

But those numbers don’t always accurately depict your lifestyle. That’s why you need to trust yourself first to determine if you’re active or not. And then if you want to track steps or other physical activity measurements, you can use them to motivate you or challenge you to push harder.

Ask yourself, “Do I feel active?”

It seems like a simple question, but it gives you a clear answer. Just because you walk a certain amount of steps or run a certain amount of miles, it doesn’t automatically mean you’re going to feel active.

You don’t live an active lifestyle because you walk a certain amount of steps. You’re living an active lifestyle when you actually feel like you’re active.

The best way to lose weight is gradually and consistently to improve your health and keep the weight off.

Moving more is as important as strength training and cardiovascular exercises. This could be yard work or household chores, taking the stairs or walking throughout the day. There have been studies that show that after even one or two hours of sitting there are negative side effects including reduced blood flow, decreased calorie burn and more difficulty manage chronic conditions (like high blood pressure or diabetes).

In addition to just moving more, its better getting up for just a few minutes about every hour.

But this practice is completely wrong and can be dangerous for overall health. when we eat carbs they are broken down into glucose in the body. Glucose is the primary source of energy for the brain and the body. Thus avoiding carbohydrate intake completely can make us feel tired soon and our concentration levels will be affected too.

It will also lead to muscle weakness and low energy levels. Bad breath, headache, constipation or diarrhoea are some other ill-effects of carbohydrate restriction. So instead of completely avoiding carbohydrates opt for healthy fibre rich carb sources.
