Fitness these days has become the one most confusing concepts. For some its "Weight Loss", for some its only "Yoga", For some its building "Stamina" for some its only "bodybuilding". Fitness enthusiast must understand that its not about one thing, however, its combination of 5 facets.

5 Facets are (Will define these in next part):

#Cardiovascular Endurance

#Muscualar Endurance

#Muscular-Skeletal Strength

#Flexiblity

#Ideal Body Composition: Fat - Muscle weight Ratio

The person belonging to any category of age group/lifestyle/ profession, be it Sportsperson, corporate executive, Teenager, Senior citizen, homemakers must include a specific group of exercises targeting all five aspects of fitness.

#Ageing is nothing but a reduction in human performance in all five elements of fitness (which is accelerated due to misusing the human system). Hence, the only anti ageing tactic is to place equal emphasis on all five aspects of fitness.

The major challenge is the current scenario of the fitness world is that even the fitness professionals are trapped in huge pitfalls. Maybe yoga instructor will provide emphasis only of achieving flexibility; Weight management trainer will work only strength and Weightloss, a dance instructor will work only of stamina and correct form. However, they must understand the importance of giving specific exercise targeting each of the five aspects.

#UniversalGoal: Only way to enhance the quality of life is by improving performance in all five elements of fitness.

People ask me what to have before a workout. ( weight training), The answer is taking simple carbs, because carbs (carbohydrates) are the primary source of Energy.

We have two type of carbs one is pure carbs, and another one is complex carbs.

The difference between simple carbs and complex carbs is, simple carbs will digest soon, and it will provide energy for a short duration, and complex carbs will take some time to get digest but give power for a more extended period.

  1. So, if you have complex carbs before a workout, it will take a longer duration to digest so you may get vomiting sensation.
  2. So, have Simple carbs it will digest soon and gives you energy approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

  • Your mind will quit a thousand times before your body will. Fill the fear and do it anyway.

  • Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.

  • Minds are like parachutes. They only function properly when open.

  • Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.

  • You can have results or excuses not both.

  • Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up.

  • Discipline is doing what you knowneeds to be done, even if you don’t want to do it.

  • You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

  •  Change comes with pain. But this pain later becomes a gain. To explain it well,"no pain, no gain"! Endure the pain and make a difference.

  • You have to decide where you have to be.

An active lifestyle isn’t a number, it’s a feeling. Steps, miles, and other numbers are external validation measurements used to give a visual representation of a feeling.

But those numbers don’t always accurately depict your lifestyle. That’s why you need to trust yourself first to determine if you’re active or not. And then if you want to track steps or other physical activity measurements, you can use them to motivate you or challenge you to push harder.

Ask yourself, “Do I feel active?”

It seems like a simple question, but it gives you a clear answer. Just because you walk a certain amount of steps or run a certain amount of miles, it doesn’t automatically mean you’re going to feel active.

You don’t live an active lifestyle because you walk a certain amount of steps. You’re living an active lifestyle when you actually feel like you’re active.

Avoiding carbs completely will help shed unwanted weight.

Truth:  Many people drastically reduce or stop eating carbohydrates for weight loss. But this practice is completely wrong and can be dangerous for overall health. when we eat carbs they are broken down into glucose in the body. Glucose is the primary source of energy for the brain and the body. Thus avoiding carbohydrate intake completely can make us feel tired soon and our concentration levels will be affected too.

It will also lead to muscle weakness and low energy levels. Bad breath, headache, constipation or diarrhoea are some other ill-effects of carbohydrate restriction. So instead of completely avoiding carbohydrates opt for healthy fibre rich carb sources.
